Vivid Vases Thank You

Here's another Vivid Vases card I put together at the weekend.  The vases are lightly coloured with my aqua painter and I used blender pens for the flowers.  I finished off the vases with Crystal Effects and a light pinch of glitter, but they don't show up so well in the photos.

That ruffle stretch trim is so pretty. It comes in the five 2013-2015 In Colors, this one being Coastal Cabana.  You can see all the products I used further down. Hope you like it.  Thanks for visiting x

Vivid Vases jentangled with a touch of Rose Red

Hello crafting friends.  I'm excited to share another jentangled card with you today, my take on Zentangle. which I absolutely love.

See how versatile Stampin' Up's stamps are?  This one is called Vivid Vases.  It's new in the spring/summer catalogue and is sold as a single stamp in wood mount only. There is a sentiment under the vases which I covered with masking tape before inking the stamp.  The trick is remembering to remove the mask before stamping ;)

I literally just finished putting the card together and wanted to take photos right away whilst it's still light enough.  It's pretty wet and grim here today. 

I used blender pens to colour the flowers in Blushing Bride and Rose Red.  The rhinestones were coloured with a permanent black marker pen. The Rose Red strip of card under the vases was cut and embossed with Adorning Accents die and coordinating embossing folder. World Treasures Peacock

Hello crafters, happy April everyone. Today I have this gorgeous card to show you.  It was made by a lovely friend who recently received her stash of Stampin' Up! goodies. I'm not exactly sure of the techniques she used, definitely heat embossing, blending of my favourite colours, matting and layering and some colouring in.

The peacock is from World Treasures stamp set.  I don't have this one but would sure like it now :)
