Pretty succulents

A quick post today.  I had so much fun creating these succulents using the Succulents Framelits Dies - on page 21 of the spring/summer catalogue.  I also used the Layering Ovals dies as you can see.  The Oh So Succulent stamp set coordinates with the dies as does the pretty Succulent Garden DSP.

I sponged the edges of all the layers with Rich Razzleberry. We made these at one of my classes last week and they all turned out awesome. All products used are listed below.

Special wishes twist-fold card

When I first discovered the twist-fold technique I wasn't too keen on it, then I gave it a go.  I have to say I love this fold technique now, and it's such fun to do.  There are plenty of video tutorials on all the www's.  Unfortunately I haven't got into making my own videos yet, it's still on my list of things to do.

Anyway back to the card.  I used the awesome Special Reason stamp set and coordinating dies, Stylish Stems Framelits, which you will find in the 2017 Spring/Summer catalogue.  Also available as a bundle saving you 10%.

It's a relatively easy card to make even though it looks complicated. I will be making more of these for sure.

Isn't this bee cute?  It's from the Dragonfly Dreams stamp set.  And did you notice the embossed background?  I used the new Hexagons Dynamic folder.  Our dynamic folders create deep, dimensional embossed impressions.  Both sides are awesome.  Unfortunately the photo doesn't do this card justice.

I used the Stitched Framelits dies for the layering squares.  The DSP is from the Cupcakes and Carousels stack, in the spring/summer catalogue. I finished off with a bow tied on to a mini paper clip.
