Delicate details aperture card

Happy New Year crafters.  I hope you had an awesome Christmas and here's to an awesome 2017!

The spring/summer catalogue and sale-a-bration is just around the corner, starting 4th January! Yay!

I have a little sneak peek for you today, the Delicate Details lacy borders stamp set, an item that you can get for FREE during sale-a-bration.  As in previous years, you can choose a free sale-a-bration item for every £45 spend...

So back to the card, I stamped the background on to Very Vanilla card using two of the lace borders in Pink Pirouette and So Saffron. I then partially cut the aperture with the largest scalloped die from the Layering Squares Framelits. The butterfly (from Butterfly Basics - my go to stamp set) was stamped in Flirty Flamingo.  I adhered a piece of Very Vanilla to the back of the aperture and stamped the greeting (from Birthday Blooms) and another butterfly.

I stamped the same lacy background inside the card before adhering another piece of Very Vanilla card, finishing off the inside with another butterfly.  And of course, I always stamp the envelope to coordinate..

Here's a more vibrant colour-way in Melon Mambo and Old Olive on Whisper White card.  The flower is from You've Got This stamp set and was coloured in with Stampin' Up's NEW watercolor pencils which will be available in the spring/summer catalogue.
