Heron Birthday Card

Inspiration for this card came from various card ideas I saw on Pinterest. I can't credit a specific individual as I don't know who came up with the design first. 

I used one of my favourite new bundle in the 2022-2023 Annual Catalogue, the Heron Habitat Bundle. Ink colours used were Pool Party, So Saffron, Pear Pizzazz, Blushing Bride and Basic Gray. And of course, I used the fabulous Blending Brushes on page 129 of the Annual to blend the inks from the corners out. 

Dimensions
Card base: 4 1/8" x 5 3/4" (8 1/4" x 5 3/4" folded in half)
Rectangles: 1 7/8" x 2 11/16" 

Sorry about the 16th" measurement, but that's what worked for me. It's the little mark just after 2 5/8".

Birdhouse Birthday Card

I have to thank Jennifer McGuire for inspiring me to make these awesome slimline birdhouse cards - a link to her video is below. Of course I only used Stampin' Up! products to make my cards. I have listed everything I used below and although most are retiring at the of this month it's easy enough to substitute other stamp sets and dies. 

These slimline cards fit in a regular UK DL envelope (4 1/4/" x 8 5/8" - 11 cm x 22 cm).  Once I made my template it was easy to get a production line going - I have made six so far.

Bird Ballad Birthday

Here's one of the cards that was included in my card kit by post this month.  We, Stampin' Up! demonstrators, are not allowed to stamp any images for customers.  Therefore this card was created using designer series paper, dies and punches.  The little bit of stamping on the front of the card and envelope can be substituted with any suitable stamps you already have in your stash.

The birds image on the card was punched out of one of the designs from the Bird Ballad Designer Series Paper with a circle die from the Layering Circle Dies. I used the same set of dies to punch out the Basic Gray and Whisper White layers. The feathers inside the card were fussy cut from the DSP. The greeting came from the Varied Vases stamp set, punched out with the Classic Label Punch. I have listed all products used at the bottom of this post.
