Loveliest Layers Masks on Pretty Paper

I used the floral stencils from Loveliest Layers Decorative Masks directly on to DSP for these cards. I love how they turned out. I'm afraid my photography skills aren't brilliant, the cards are so much nicer in real life. 

The DSP is Dandy Designs, a sale-a-bration item free with a £90 spend. It's a 12" x 12" pack of 48 sheets, 4 each of 12 double-sided designs. Hibiscus thank you

I have a few of my thank you cards for this month left. Bright and beautiful. This hibiscus, which I love, is from the Humming Along stamp set. There is also a set of dies to coordinate with the stamps.

They were pretty quick and easy to colour in. I used Stampin' Blends (alcohol markers) in Lovely Lipstick, Old Olive and Daffodil Delight.  And for the background around the flower I used Bermuda Bay water colour pencil.

Healing vibes with Healing Hugs

Moving away from Christmas, I made this card a while back but I don't think I have shared it. I love how it turned out. I used the Healing Hugs stamp set, Stampin' Up!'s new style of DistINKive stamps, first launched in Sale-A-Bration in January. The awesome thing about these stamps is the beautiful detail and shading you get, all with one stamp of the image - no need for two-step stamping. And isn't the Tufted dynamic embossing folder amazing too!

The base card is Highland Heather and the background stamped in the same colour ink.  The embossed layer is Gorgeous Grape as are the flower and greeting.  The leaves were stamped in Granny Apple Green. I didn't have the Brights collection of the DSP so I used Pear Pizzazz from the Subtles collection.
