It's a good day

This was a quick and easy card to put together and I love how it turned out.  I cut to size one of the beautiful papers from the Petal Garden DSP stack and adhered it to the card base, then sponged around the edges to give a softer look.  I used the scalloped edge die from the Seasonal Layers Thinlits set for the borders on the front and inside the card. The greeting is from Best Birds stamp set, perfectly placed on a circle from SU's Stitched Shapes Framelits set.

Petal Passions for you - sneak peek

Here's a sneak peek at a couple of stamps from the new Petal Passions stamp set which will be available in the spring/summer catalogue from 3rd January 2018.  Did you spot the pretty border?  The die I used is from a set that coordinates with this stamp set. 

I water coloured the image in Pool Party and Pear Pizzaz.   I heat embossed the greeting in silver on an oval punched out from my go to set of dies, the Stitched Framelits.  The greeting is actually from another new stamp set called Cake Soiree. I finished off with a few triple dots using the fine tip of my Basic Gray marker.  Thanks for stopping by x
