Tea Shoppe

These are the little thank you cards I enclosed with customer orders recently.  Quick to make. The teacup is stamped in Not Quite Navy and text in More Mustard, both stamped on to Whisper White card. I punched out the text with the Word Window punch and inked the edges in Not Quite Navy with a dauber.

Pressed for time, and because I had strips of white card already cut, instead of envelopes I made belly bands topped with the flower image from the stamp set, stamped in More Mustard to coordinate, punched out with the Curly Label punch and again edged in Not Quite navy.

Up, Up & Away

The ladies at a workshop earlier this month enjoyed making this stepper card using the newly launched Up, Up & Away stamp set.  It does coordinate nicely with the Big Top Birthday designer paper.  Fun to make and we naturally finished off the inside of the card, as always, in the same theme, but I forgot to take a photo of the inside.

The layers were punched out with coordinating punches.

Growing Green

If you like parchment craft then the Growing Green stamp set is a perfect choice. Ink your stamp with White Stazon then stamp on parchment and emboss as usual with your embossing tools.  I coloured this one on the back with Stampin Pastels using Blender Pens.

The flowers on this card were stamped with Versamark and heat embossed with white embossing powder on glossy white card. I used Stampin' Ink Refills to colour - a technique I plan to teach at one of my classes.

French Foliage

French Foliage is one of my favourite stamp set.  A very easy technique was used on the first card, the background is simply a clear mount block inked in So Saffron and 'stamped' on to the card.  The partially embossed corners adds interest and again finished off with a button and Linen Thread.

Something sweet

Quick post today with Something Sweet, that's the stamp set used for these two cards.  The one on the right incorporates a Circle Treat Cup which can be filled with small sweets or £1 coins if you're feeling generous.  You can't see from the photo, but I made it so the back of the treat cup slides open to make it easy to get to.

More sweetness in the form of yummy cupcakes.  These were make-n-take projects using Create a Cupcake stamp set and the Cupcake builder punch - both were in the Spring mini which ran until 30 April so no longer available.  I don't know if they will reappear in the new catalogue in October - we wait and see.

Step fold and more florals

More floral and glitter on this step fold card with matching envelope and pretty insert.  The gathered ribbon did involve needle and cotton but really didn't take long to do and well worth the effort I think.

Punches: Curly Label, Itty Bitty Shapes, Extra-large Oval and Boho Blossoms
Dies: Top Note, Little Leaves, Swirls Scribbles and Beautiful Wings
Inks

Bright and summery

Love this - very striking in Pumpkin Pie. The flower petals are stamped with the Build a Blossom stamp set on Whisper White card, punched out with the coordinating Blossom Petals Builder punch and embossed before assembling.  Embossing folders used are Perfect Polka Dots and Square Lattice.  Finished off nicely with a designer button and 1/8" taffeta ribbon
The ever popular Pocket Silhouettes stamp set, stamped here in bright and summery Melon Mambo and Daffodil Delight.

Crystal Effects

I enjoyed making these cards and love that Stampin' Up!'s Crystal Effects is pliable when dry. No cracking! I used a bone folder to shape the flower petals and butterfly wings and they keep the shape very well. Allow plenty of time for drying - I always leave overnight. Visit Michelle Last's website to see her tutorial.

Stamp sets: Vintage Vogue and Delicate Doilies
Punches: Butterfly, Scallop Trim Border, Eyelet Border, Jewelry Tag

Delightful Decorations

I have these Santa owls and tags left over from last Christmas - made using the Owl Builder punch and the tags are stamped with Delightful Decorations stamp set and punched out with the Ornament punch.

I can't remember how many punch outs I used to make the 3D ornament or where I saw the original tutorial - I will find it and add a link here to her website to give credit.

Lovely As a Tree

I made these cards last autumn using the very versatile Lovely As a Tree stamp set. The oak tree being in Wild Wasabi, So Saffron and Chocolate Chip.

The second card is inked in Old Olive on Whisper White card and the is designer paper is Certainly Celery from the Subtles Collection paper stack.  Trimmed with a designer button and 1/8" taffeta ribbon in Early Expresso.

Beau Chateau designer series paper

Using Beau Chateau designer series paper for the main background.
