Stippled Blossoms in Rose Red

Here's another card we made in class this month. The Stippled Blossoms set is a two-step stamp set but here we used just the 'detail' stamp to create the background and both stamps for the main flower and leaves - which were then fussy cut and attached with dimensionals .

Products used:
Card: Rose Red, Old Olive and Whisper White
Inks: Rose Red, Pretty in Pint, Old Olive and Certainly Celery
Stamp sets: Stippled Blossoms and Friendly Phrases
Tools: Oval Framelits Dies

Papaya Collage for a challenge

Hello friends and welcome back.  It's been a while since I last posted. As usual the time just flies when you're really busy.

I've been using the Papaya Collage stamp set quite a bit lately and when I saw this week's Pals Paper Arts challenge out it came again. I thought I'd enter with this 5" x 5" square card.  I haven't made the envelope yet so will add that later. Hope you like it.

So here's what I used:

Card and paper:  Confetti Cream for the card base, Very Vanilla, Comfort CafĂ© designer paper and Subtles paper stack.
Inks: Cajun Craze, Always Aritchoke and So Saffron
Stamps:  Papaya Collage and Elements of Style (for the sentiment)

Embellishments: Always Artichoke Seam Binding Ribbon and Pearl Basic Jewels

Thank you for visiting.

Perfectly Preserved Tag

I saw Deconstructed Sketch No. 92 and immediately thought of this idea for a tag, so here's my entry. I used the Perfectly Preserved stamp set and coordinating dies. This set was available in the 2012 autumn/winter catalogue and with a bit of luck it might re-appear in the new annual. I have no idea if that will be the case, we'll just have to wait and see.

I used Real Red, Summer Starfruit, Gumball Green and Basic Black inks.  A piece of linen thread and finished off with red glitter paper for the heart which was punched out with the owl builder punch - there's a very useful little heart on that punch.  Thank you for stopping by x ...

Papaya Collage on Floral Frames

I love, love, love the Floral Frames dies. This time used with another beautiful stamp set, Papaya Collage.

I stamped the leaves in Old Olive and So Saffron on Whisper White card, layered over Chocolate Chip. The bird is also stamped in Chocolate Chip as is the sentiment and that pretty 'frame' behind the button. Perfect. The 'Thank you' sentiment is from Itty Bitty Banners stamp set which has matching dies - sold separately.
