Filigree Framed Wondrous Wreath

Another fairly quick card to make.  Even though this is a three-step stamp set it really doesn't take long to stamp and die cut.  I started off by embossing my Very Vanilla base card with the pretty filigree frame folder, new in the autumn-winter catalogue.  I folded the card before placing in the folder so both the front and back were embossed in one pass.  Such a pretty effect.

Cute House Tealight holder

Welcome back crafters.  I made over 30 of these cute tealight holders.  Battery operated tealights of course.  You can get two out of an A4 sheet as each house uses a piece of 5" x 8 1/4" piece of card. The sides measure 2" x 2" and height of the roof is 1".

The windows were cut out with the smallest Windows Framelits die.  The opening at the back was cut with the second smallest square framelit die. I added stars and a scalloped strip at the back to strengthen the corners and bottom edge.

The snowflakes, from Endless Wishes, were stamped on window sheet (acetate) with white StazOn in.

Love, love, love SU's glimmer paper. It's available in silver, gold and red.  It's a stunning way to add no-mess glittery sparkle to your projects.

Endless Wishes

Hello crafters. I'm way behind with making and sending my Christmas cards.  I'll be cracking on with it this weekend. If you're in the same situation then here's a quick and easy design to inspire you.  It's one we made in class last month.  True to it's name, this lovely photopolymer stamp set includes endless wishes.  A strip of washi tape and three rhinestone crystals finishes off the card perfectly.

I didn't even have to cut up any card stock, I used Stampin' Up!'s note cards and envelopes.  They come in a pack of 20 cards and envelopes in whisper white or crumb cake - perfect.  You'll find them at the top of page 194 of the main catalogue. The washi tape is from All Is Calm Designer Washi Tape. There are five designs per pack.  You'll find them at the top of page 22 of the autumn-winter catalogue.

Something for Baby...

I needed to make a couple of baby girl cards and have used two stamp sets for these cards, Baby, We've Grown and Something for Baby, which has a coordinating set of dies.  I used the dies for the pram, bib on the back of the card and nappy pin on the flap of the envelope. Oh, and the little flowers on the bib card.

I used pretty in pink card, now retired, for the bib. I found the scalloped circle card in my stash already cut and so the idea of a bib was born. That, and the fact that I actually bought a pink bib with the text 'Born in 2014'.  I used Little Letters dies for the letters.  It's new in the current catalogue.  The numbers however were die-cut with a retired set.

I snuck in one of my favourite embossing folders on the pram card, together with it's coordinating large scallop die.
