Flower Shop on stems

These are soooooo pretty and very popular.  I've made loads, using the Flower Shop stamp set and coordinating punch, each finished off with a pearl.  You'll find them on page 94-95 of the main catalogue.  It's another set that can be bought as a bundle with a saving of 15%.

I have a little vase of flowers my desk at work, which attracts lots of lovely comments.  The milk carton one is on display at the venue where I hold classes in Tiverton.  I also hold a monthly class in Silverton. Please do contact me if you would like more information or have any questions about my classes. Thank you for visiting x

Spring and summer wreaths...

First of all I would just like to say OMG!  The European Convention in Manchester last weekend was AMAZING!  It was my first as I wasn't able to attend in previous years.  I have already started saving up for the next one, which will be in Brussels.  It was so lovely to meet many other demos.  I believe there were around 900.  There is a video to share with you, plus some more information which I will post soon.

Remember the autumn and winter wreaths I posted earlier this month?...
I also made spring and summer wreaths...
Hope you like them.  I used So Saffron designer paper from the designer paper stack for the spring.  Each 'flower' is made up of five punched out circles, four are folded in quarters and glued side by side on the fifth circle.  I will do a tutorial next week.

The summer wreath is made up of stamped and die cut images from the Secret Garden stamp set and dies.  Cardstock and inks are the five 2011-2013 In Colours.  Primrose Petals, Raspberry Ripple, Midnight Muse, Summer Starfruit and Gumball Green. Plus of course I used white gel pen for the dots to highlight the flower centers.  It is finished off with a bow in our 7/8" cotton ribbon.  You can also stamp on this ribbon.  I must try that :)

I love the velvety look of these flowers, stamped with the same colour ink as the card.
and for good measure another look at the snowflakes that decorate the winter wreath, made with the new Festive Flurry stamp set and dies which you can buy as a bundle in the autumn/winter catalogue, saving 15%. Not forgetting the beautiful Frosted Finished embellishment also in the same catalogue.

Pretty bows and ornaments

I wanted to share these beautiful bows and ornaments we made at a recent workshop. Well done everyone. I forgot to take photos on the day so Monica asked the lovely ladies to bring their creations with them to their regular get together last week and kindly took some photos for me. Thank you Monica :)

The bows were created using the Gift Bow Bigz die and designer paper from the regals collection.  The ornaments are similar to the ones featured on the cover of last year's autumn/winter catalogue. We used the  ornaments stamp set and coordinating dies which are still available but only until January 2014.

Wonderfall and Festive Flurry wreaths

My first attempt at making wreaths. The photos are rubbish though.  I took them first thing this morning before work when it wasn't really light enough and by the time I get home from work it's too dark.  Anyway, the idea is to do a spring, summer, autumn, winter theme.  Thought I'd share anyway.  I'll take better photos over the weekend as I have several other projects to post.

The winter snowflake is one my group have to finish in class later this month. The paper covering the ring is from Winter Frost Specialty Designer Series pack.  The large snowflake is finished off with a very beautiful and sparkly Frosted Finishes embellishment.

I wasn't too keen on the Festive Flurry stamp set when I first saw it and now I can't stop using it, especially as there are coordinating dies.  They are currently available as a bundle with 15% discount, on page 30 of the autumn/winter catalogue. If you'd like to place an order online, you can do so here, or contact me, details on the left.
I used the the Wonderfall stamp set and coordinating dies for this wreath.  I randomly stamped on Whisper White card to create the background.  Finished off with an antique brad and button made with Simply Pressed Clay and Buttons mould.
