Wetlands

A quick hello today.  I wanted to show you the project that inspired the cards in my previous post.

I held a class at work last month and this is the card we made. Everyone loved it. There was a tag as well but I couldn't find it when I took photos.

The Wilderness Awaits

Hello crafters. Today I want to show you some cards I made using my favourite new stamp set, The Wilderness Awaits, paired with a stamp from the Work of Art set.

I normally go for florals and butterflies, usually can't resist them!  But when I saw this set I loved it right away. I have made several packs of these cards as gifts, for personal use and as a class project.

The card is finished off with some gold metalic thread, also new, and a candy dot. What do you think? ....

Fluttering Watercolor Wings

Hello crafters.  Hope your weekend was as lovely as mine.  The weather was glorious here, it was nice to spend some time in the garden.  I also did quite a lot of crafting, of course, but today's card is one I actually made last week.

I used Watermelon Wonder - 2015-2017 in color - for the base card, embossed layer and stamped butterfly.  'Congrats' is from the stamp set called Bravo.  It was stamped on vellum card stock with Versamark and heat embossed with white embossing powder.

Love the new 6" x 6" Fluttering embossing folder.  The butterfly is from the new three-step, photopolymer stamp set called Watercolor Wings.  Two sets of dies coordinate with this stamp set, Bold Butterfly Framelits and Butterflies Thinlits

I also passed the envelope flap through the embossing folder but it's hard to see in the photo, shame because it's so pretty.
