Floral Wings take two

A different version of yesterday's card - in two colour ways.  So the first one uses 2015-2017 In Colors Mint Macaron, Delightful Dijon and Cucumber Crush.  I know, it's a very peculiar way to spell macaroon, for that is what many call it. The spelling starts umpteen discussions about the correct pronounciation - macaron / macaroon.  Maybe it was done on purpose to keep people talking about Stampin' Up!. I can't think of a better subject. Can you?

Anyway, regardless of spelling and pronounciation, it's a fab colour. A new favourite I think.  Did you guess I used the stripes mask for the background?  I stenciled on Very Vanilla card and the words are from Crazy About You stamp set, which can be purchased separately or as a bundle with the Hello You dies. I have given details of bundles below...

And here we have Wisteria Wonder, Blushing Bride and Pear Pizzaz.  Very pretty. I meant for the background stripes, on Whisper White card, to be much paler. For the antenna I simply cut very thin strips of card and curved them a little before attaching.

Floral Wings

Another sneak peek to share with you today. This is a two-step photopolymer hostess stamp set. It's so pretty I simply had to have it. There is a die to coordinate with the butterfly but it wasn't pre-orderable so I will just have to wait till 2nd June like everybody else.

The fancy edges were cut with the wavy rotary blade. Your Stampin' Trimmer can be transformed into a rotary cutter by switching the trimmer arm with the rotary arm. Straight cut blades are included with the Rotary Addition and decorative blades are sold separately.

If you would like to get your mitts on this stamp set simply invite some friends over for a fun night of creativity and earn yourself Stampin' Rewards to spend on anything in the catalogue, including exclusive sets that are only available to hostesses. Please get in touch with me to find out more about earning Stampin' Rewards.  My contact details are on the left.   Thank you for stopping by x

Dots and a bow

Hello again crafters.  It's just gone midnight, so we're into Wednesday and you know what that means.  Yup. New weekly deals.  You can view this weeks offers via the tab above.

To today's cards...  I used the dots mask to place calypso coral spots on whisper white card using a sponge dauber. I sponged the ink on quite lightly as I wanted a soft two-tone look.

The cards measure 5" x 5" and 4 1/8" x 5 3/4".  Did you spot another difference between the two cards?  It's the dots. They are in straight lines on the 5" x 5" and not on the other card.  By that I mean that I placed the mask at a random angle over the smaller card.  It was easier than trying to line up perfectly and also I think looks much nicer.

The base card is calypso coral and the matting and bow are chocolate chip.  I love, love, love the bow builder punch, it's one of my favourites.  The greeting is from butterfly basics stamps.  There is set of butterfly dies to coordinate.  They are available separately or as a bundle, saving you 15%.  Details of the bundles are below.

There is a reason why calypso coral is the flavour of these cards.  I wanted finish off the bow with a pompom, snipped from the pompom trim. Oh, and guess what? The pompom trim is on offer this week.  £3.94 instead of £5.25. Thanks for stopping by x
