A merry little wish

A couple of teepee cards to show you today.  They are really easy to make.  You just need three squares, score each one diagonally from one corner to the opposite corner then fold on the score line to form a triangle.  Open flat and overlay one square over the other so that a straight edge meets a diagonal score line - as you can see in the last photo below.

I used 4" x 4" whisper white card stock for these. The DSP is from Merry Moments, cut a 1/4" smaller, so 3 3/4" square, cut in half diagonally as you will only need to decorate one half of each base card.  The completed card folded in half fits in a regular C6 envelope.

Stamp sets used are Festival of Trees and Lots of Joy. There is a tree punch to coordinate with both sets.  The punch and Festival of Trees stamps are available as a bundle, saving you 15%. I heat embossed all the stamping in gold - the trees on cherry cobbler card stock.  The gold washi tape used as a border is from the Winter Wonderland set of tapes.

Lots of Joy

A couple more Christmas cards and tags to share with you today using the Lots of Joy stamp set in Real Red, Old Olive and Whisper White.  The cards measure 3 1/2" x 3 1/2".  I used marker pens to ink the Noel stamp in the two colours.  The embossing folders used are Softly Falling and Woodland.

The envelopes were made using the new 12" x 12" red envelope paper, available in the autumn/winter catalogue.  I got four envelopes out of one sheet as this size card only needs a 6" square piece of paper for the envelope - made using the envelope punch board of course.

Oops, I used the tree stamp from Wonderland on one of the tags... just had to.
