Take life by the reins

I am so pleased with how this card turned out.  Hope you like it too. I used Thick Whisper White card for the base and the lovely wood effect paper is from the Wood Textures DSP stack.

I stamped the horse on Whisper White card first, in Early Espresso, then masked it with another horse which I stamped on a large post-it note and cut out just inside the line.  I then used the Stamparatus to stamp the frame in Night of Navy. Being a large stamp, using the Stamparatus made stamping a breeze.  I also used navy for the greeting and Mossy Meadow for the trees.

I used Cajun Craze and Early Espresso watercolour pencils to colour in the horse. I added a 'flag' in Night of Navy, wrapped with a bit of copper thread, then popped the stamped layer with dimensionals on another piece of Whisper White, set off just a bit to tie in with the design of the frame.
