Cookie Cutter Christmas Waterfall Card

This is the first card I made using the Cookie Cutter Christmas stamp set.  It was a project at one of my recent classes. There is a punch so no need to fussy cut the images. As usual, there is a saving of 10% when purchased as a bundle.

The images were stamped in Crumb Cake on Whisper White card stock.  The hearts, bow tie (on the front panel) and reindeer's nose were punched out of red glimmer paper - cute.

Yoo-hoo, Merry Christmouse

Hello crafters.  This super cute mouse is from The Merry Mice stamp set.  This was the first item that went into my basket from the autumn-winter catalogue.  He is peeking out the top of one of the stockings from the Hang Your Stockings set which has a coordinating dies. You save 10% when you purchase the stamp set and dies as a bundle.  I have listed the products used at the bottom...

I stamped the mouse on Stampin' Up's Shimmery White card in black Stazon ink and I used re-inkers to colour in.  The backgound is a simple watercolour wash in So Saffron and Pool Party. The Shimmery White card is great for water colouring projects, as an alternative to watercolour paper.

I sponged around the edges in Pool Party and finished off with faux stitching and a touch of glitter in the centre of each snowflake.  Thank you so much for stopping by.  I know it's been quite a while since my last post.  I do have lots to show you so come back soon x

Hello - Wild About Flowers

Today's card features the inlaid die cut technique using Wild About Flowers stamp set and Hello You thinlits dies.

First I cut out 'hello' from silver glimmer paper. I stamped the stem and flower heads on the white panel then I cut out 'hello' toward the bottom of the panel. I carefully removed this 'hello' (together with the pieces in the loops) and replaced it with the silver one, like a jigsaw puzzle.  To complete the jigsaw, I replaced the empty loops with the pieces from the panel die cut - I hope that makes sense.

I love the pink and grey together, finished off with a gem in the centre of each of the three open flowers.  The strip on the side of the panel is Basic Gray, though the camera has picked it up much darker.   Thank you for stopping by x
