Eclipsed kitty

I have had this 'eclipse' design in my head since way before Christmas, finally here it is.  I hope you like it as much as I do.  I used the scalloped die from the Seasonal Layers die set to create the pretty edge.  I think it adds a wow factor.

First I die cut the scalloped edge on the card front, saving the off-cut to use inside the card.  Then I stamped the flower border in Basic Gray before punching out the cat.  I then backed the partially cut card front with a piece of basic gray to bring the card front back to it's original size.

I adhered the pink cat on top of 4 layers of cats which I punched out in basic gray, all adhered on top of each other to give the cat dimension and an 'eclipsed' look when glued back in the punched out apeture, hence the continuous stamped border. Thank you for visiting x

A punched out cat added to the inside on top of scalloped edge finished off the card nicely.

Oh, happy day

I think I'm addicted to Lemon Lime Twist, in fact I have run out of the card stock and have more on order!  This is a no-fuss card because I wanted to show off the Simple Stripes Textured folder. I love the lemony lime colour with Pink Pirouette.

Have a birthday brew

I have a fun and cheerful card to show you today using the Bubble Over bundle.  The Bubble and Fizz DSP I used is a free sale-a-bration item available until 31st March.

The bottles were punched out of SU's Vellum card stock.  I then inked the back side of the bottles using sponge daubers.

Here's the inside of the card. I never leave the inside blank. Never have.
