So very kind of you

Hello crafters.  Yay!!! for a lovely long weekend.

I don't think I have ever shared a chalkboard technique with you so let's fix that right now.  I hope you like it, take a looksee...

So very Kind of You is another stamp from the Big on You photopolymer set.  The feather is from Four Feathers stamp set and was cut with the coordinating die.

The base card is So Saffron and stamping is on Chalkboard paper using Yellow Citrus ColorBox Chalk ink. Other ink colours available are Rose Coral and Aquamarine. Chalkboard paper is quite thick, more like card really and you stamp on the side that's smooth and velvety. It does take a little while for the chalk ink to dry so I use a heat tool to speed up the process.

I used Very Vanilla for the 'insert' and added a feather stamped in Tuxedo Black on So Saffron card. I think the three pearls finish off the card quite nicely.  I do tend to use pearls quite a lot on my projects, love them. The card measures 4 1/8" x 5" so I am off to make a coordinating envelope using So Saffron DSP finishing off with a few stamped feathers.

Big on You

Happy weekend crafters.  Today's card is one I started a couple of weeks ago but only finished off yesterday evening.

This is one of the four extra large greetings from the Big on You photopolymer stamp set in the spring-summer catalogue. I hope the set is carried forward to the new annual catalogue.  Demonstrators will find out on Thursday 30th April when we get to see an online version of the new 2015-2016 catalogue.  Yay!!!  So excited!

Don't forget, the new 2015-2016 annual catalogue goes live on 2nd June.  The current 2014-2015 ends on 2nd June, not 30th June as printed on the front cover.  Demonstrators get to pre-order some new products from 4th May so watch out for sneak peaks on my blog next month.

So back to this 5" x 5" card.  The image was stamped in Elegant Eggplant on Whisper White card that was cut out with the largest square die which is scalloped. Neat.  I coloured in the text with marker pens in Wisteria Wonder, same as the card base, So saffron, Blushing Bride and Pear Pizzazz.

I added a few Petite Petals flowers which were punched out with the coordinating punch. The card was finished off with a few pearls and faux stitching in Wisteria Wonder.  The envelope, made with the envelope punch board of course, is Blushing Bride DSP from the subtles paper stack, finished off with a petite petal flower on the flap.  Thanks for stopping by x
