Botanical birthday wreath

Hello there crafters. I was really pleased with how this card turned out. It's one of the projects I included in my classes this month. Lots of stamping, which we love, right?

The greeting is from Birthday Blooms stamp set, new in the spring/summer catalogue. And for the wreath I used Botanicals for You (a Sale-A-Bration stamp set). This set coordinates with the Botanical Blooms bundle in the spring/summer catalogue. Love it.  There is also a SAB Botanical Gardens vellum stack that coordinates. The larger flower and leaves were die cut using the Botanical Builder framelits.

Colours used are Rose Red, Delightful Dijon, Perfect Plum and Old Olive, stamped on thick Whisper White card stock.  The striped paper is from the 2015-2017 In Color DSP Paper Stack. You'll find a full list of supplies used at the bottom of this post...

Cottage greetings for you

Hello crafters.  Today's cards feature the Cottage Greetings Card Kit.  Aren't they awesome?

I had to make some special birthday and thank you cards in a hurry at the beginning of January and this kit was perfect for the projects. The kit makes 15 cards, folded size 12.7 x 12.7 cm (5" x 5"), 5 each of 3 yummy designs with foil accents. Envelopes included of course, plus silver foil envelope liners. You also get die-cut paper and foil images, baker's twine, sequins, wood veneer sheets, enamel dots and dimensionals. You just need stamps for the greetings, ink and adhesive.

The Cottage Greetings stamp set, sold separately, coordinates with the kit. I don't have that set, yet, so I used greetings from the Watercolor Wishes Card Kit (let me tell you that's another awesome kit - see page 80).  You'll find this kit and stamp set on pages 154 and 94 of the annual catalogue.

Happy New Year crafters!  I hope you had a wonderful Christmas and are all set for an awesome, crafty 2016!

I make so many thank you cards I don't always have time to take photos, they're usually out of the door before I have a chance to do so.  Here are a couple of cute 3 1/2" x 3 1/2" cards from early December. Notice the coordinating envelopes?  I used SU's 2015-2017 In Colour envelope paper.  The base card, DSP and envelope are in Watermelon Wonder and the ribbon and dotty accents on the envelope and tag are Delightful Dijon.

The stamp sets used are Another Thank You and Beautiful Bunch.  The flower is punched out with the coordinating Fun Flower punch. I have listed all supplies used at the bottom of the post.

I generally write my thank you message on a tag. Sometimes I make a 'pocket' to hold the tag, here I used part of a punched flower in Delightful Dijon. Many thanks for visiting x
