Gift Bow sneak peek

Hello crafters. I have a sneak peek for you today - a new die which will be available in the autumn/winter seasonal catalogue from 29th August.  I couldn't wait to get my hands on this Gift Bow die.  My pre-order goodies arrived yesterday and this was the first thing I opened.

Not only did I get to make a pretty bow, but I feel real pleased with myself because I finally found an excellent way to use up some of the packing material that comes in our Stampin Up! parcels.  There is always so much of it I hate to just throw it away.

As you can see, I used the square lattice embossing folder to emboss after cutting out the bow pieces - not just for texture, but also to disguise the many creases. It works perfectly. The button was created with the simply pressed clay and button mold on page 167 of the catalogue. To colour the button I mixed a little Crystal Effects with a drop of Raspberry Ripple re-inker, then painted it on.  Hope you like it. Thanks for visiting.

  1. Love the bow Jenny and what a great idea using the packaging, I've seen the bow die on American sites and was hoping we were going to get it, it will be great for Christmas. xx
