Art Gallery pop-up vase card

My first attempt at making a pop-up vase card. I'm really pleased with how it turned out so I thought I'd share it. I have seen a quite a number of tutorials on YouTube for this pop-up. I think I followed a tutorial by Jane Dooley, and I added little extra as I usually do. 

I used retired DSP as this was a practice card. The stamp set, Art Gallery, isn't retired though and the greetings came from two different stamp sets. I kept the front of the card simple as the WOW factor is inside. I added a 'flap' panel inside so that any personal message would be hidden when the card is on display.  The butterfly, also from retired DSP, was sitting on my desk just waiting to be popped on the vase as it coordinated nicely with the colours I used.

Butterfly Bouquet Birthday Greetings

Here are a couple of cards showing off butterflies that were punched out from one of the DSP where you can cut out all six butterflies in one pass with the large die. The stamp is one large background stamp. There are 12 coordinating dies in the set, a large one that cuts out all six butterflies in one pass, six individual butterflies, with antennae, YAY! plus the five smaller dies you see below.

Beauty Abounds Flourish

Today's card features the floral flourish and a butterfly from the Beauty Abounds set. This a fabulous new set in the 2019 spring/summer catalogue.  There is a beautiful set of coordinating thinlits dies, Butterfly Beauty, which is available on its own or as a bundle with the stamps. The 10% bundle discount will only be available till 3rd June. I hope they carry over to the 2019/2020 annual catalogue, but be aware, they won't be available as a bundle in the new catalogue, should they carry over.

I used Mossy Meadow for all the stamping on Whisper White card and Stampin' Blends makers for colouring in. The base card is Whisper White Thick card which I partially embossed using the Garden Trellis folder. A few Basic Adhesive-Backed Sequins finish off the card.
