Happy Birthday to you
Hello crafters. Hope you had a lovely weekend. I had an enjoyable day of crafting today, just playing with different bits and pieces. I ended up making a pretty card for this week's Pals Paper Arts challenge.
I had in mind a pretty background to colour in myself and this flourish stamp from Creative Elements was the perfect choice. I used Soft Suede to stamp the image and to colour in the dots. For the rest of the colouring in I used Pink Pirouette, Pear Piazzaz and Wisteria Wonder. To finish off and give a softer look, I sponged the edges with Pink Pirouette and matted the background on Whisper White card.
The butterfly was stamped with Versamark on Whisper White card and heat embossed with white embossing powder. I then sponged over with the pink and green inks (emboss resist technique) and added pearls. The flowers were topped off with punched flowers using one of the Itty Bitty punches and finished off with pearls.
Thank you for visiting and see you again soon x

Delicate Doilies with delicate designs scalloped edge
I love how this turned out. I hadn't used this stamp set in a while. I don't know why because it's one of my favs. The colours are quite an unusual combo for me... Always Artichoke, Pool Party and Crumb Cake. Stamped on Very Vanilla card.
The beautiful embossed and scalloped edges are achieved with the Delicate Designs folder and coordinating Large Scallop Edgelits die. I very recently purchased these and only wish I hadn't waited this long to go for them.
'Thinking of you' is from Peaceful Petals stamp set, new in the spring/summer catalogue. I used the retired Always Artichoke seam binding ribbon to finish off the card just because I have some left over. Pool Party or Crumb Cake ribbon would coordinate nicely too.
This is a 5" x 5" card so I custom made the envelope with the envelope punch board. How did we ever manage without this amazing board?

Flowering Flourishes with Petite Petals
This is one of the cards we made in my classes recently - different sentiments were used. I made a few more as my thank you cards. The Flowering Flourishes stamp set is so pretty and Petite Petals flowers a perfect partner don't you think?
There is a tag to go with the card and of course the envelope and inside the card have also been stamped to coordinate.
I have given details for the Petite Petals Bundle below as you save 15% on the price bought as a bundle, however the the stamp set and punch can be bought separately if you wish.
