Have a Beautiful Day V-Fold Card

I'm really pleased with how this card turned out. I called it a V-Fold but I think it should be Arrow Fold. The card was a lot easier to create than I though it would be. I was inspired by a Christmas card tutorial I saw by Liz Shannon: http://elizabethscraftroom.blogspot.com/

I changed the measurements a little for my card and even did a video tutorial, which I hope you will find useful.

The designer series paper used is a sale-a-bration item which can be yours for free with a £45 spend! Sale-a-braton 2021 ends on 28th February so you will need to be quick. You'll find links to the SAB brochure and current catalogues on the right. Please contact me if you have any questions or would like further information. Bird Ballad Birthday

Here's one of the cards that was included in my card kit by post this month.  We, Stampin' Up! demonstrators, are not allowed to stamp any images for customers.  Therefore this card was created using designer series paper, dies and punches.  The little bit of stamping on the front of the card and envelope can be substituted with any suitable stamps you already have in your stash.

The birds image on the card was punched out of one of the designs from the Bird Ballad Designer Series Paper with a circle die from the Layering Circle Dies. I used the same set of dies to punch out the Basic Gray and Whisper White layers. The feathers inside the card were fussy cut from the DSP. The greeting came from the Varied Vases stamp set, punched out with the Classic Label Punch. I have listed all products used at the bottom of this post.

Thank you for stopping by x

Choose Happiness

It's been pretty quiet on here the last couple weeks. I've not been idle though. In fact been very busy working on ideas for our stall at the annual street market where I live. Just two weeks to go and still lots to do. Yikes!! This year's theme is circus, which should be fun.  I'll share what we made later.

Today I'm happy to show you my 'screen card'.  I had this idea in my head the minute I saw the new Lots of Labels framelits and finally, voilà....  The stamp set is Choose Happiness. Love it.  I only received mine last week and can't believe I waited so long to buy this set.

Did you notice the envelope made with the new envelope paper? I love that it all coordinates beautifully.
